A friend of mine (still have a couple left) dropped $850.00 at Bass Pro shop for a Bear bow with some accessories. Said it was a Bear (I) something or other. I am guessing it is a Bear Instinct. Anyway, he ask me to find out what the experts thought. I don't shoot a compound so help me help another hunter. I will pass on the comments to him since he doesn't have a computer. Thanks.

I recently shot the long and short risered Bear parallel limbed bows. I own a Hoyt Razortec bow which I believe is a very good bow(3 bear and about 6 deer). After shooting the Bear(at the store where I get most of my stuff), I stated that if it's not parallel limbed, its way out of date. My Razortec is way out of date but paid for. Maybe in a year or two. The Bear is outstanding but so is the Diamond(Bowtec). The Bear had the least handshock I've ever not felt. Like shooting a 17HMR after shooting a 22 Mag - that's when you find out just how much recoil a 22 Mag really has. I just thought my Hoyt didn't have much hand shock.
