Well I am finally ready after all these years to give bowhunting a try. I have my bow picked out, a Mathews XT and a great proshop to buy it with a real expert to set it up for me. I plan on going up there thursday to have it set up and take delivery. I still have to decide on all the stuff like releases and sights and arrows and broadheads and all that crap but I am sure my pro shop and son and Tar-12 will steer me right. Now I have a crazy idea about sights. First I am thinking of buying this sight:

as it looks like a pretty good one. But I know EO Tech used to make a Holo-Sight (EO-Tech is the company that makes the Bushnell Holosight) for archery. There website says they dropped this sight due to the fact they could not meet demand for their sights for the military as it was. Well I just happen to currently own the LE model of the EO Tech, and currently I do not have it mounted on a firearm. My idea was to buy the archery sight I mentioned above, but also buy a mount to put the Holo- Sight on the bow and try that as well. So that leaves me with several questions. Like where can I get a mount ( weaver style rail) for a bow that I can mount the holosight on. Also I think I won't be needing a peep on the string for the holosight, but also I' don't think incorporating it into the sight picture will be harmful as well.
I am also aware that a bow imparts shock to a sight differently then a firearm, and since I have a firearm sight, will it be damaged?
I figure I will buy the Cobra and have the bow set up with that and shoot it awhile and have it for when I need it, but that since I allready have the Holo-Sight I might as well try it. I wonder if anyone has used the archery model Holo-sight and how it differs from the regular firearm sight.
I am not a member of any of the Big Archery forums and have tried without success to find information on the Holo-Sight so far. If any of you can provide a link to useful information on the archery application of the Holo-Sight, I would be grateful.
Also if you guys have any other cool accessories you want to recommend, have at it as I am the novice when it comes to archery.
Thanks
