I saw the second Ohio deer that scored 170 plus this fall from Mercer County hunters. The first was taken in the Marysville area, the other in the Wabash area. The last was a nine point with a brow tine broken off, it would have been more balanced and would have scored somewhat higher if the brow tine were present. I am here typing this when I should be in the field. I was out checking an elevated, enclosed shotgun stand yesterday. Someone, without permission, decided to use it now. This is not on public ground but my farm, I just threw a lock on it. Now, unfortunately, I will have to remember to bring the key so I can use it in the future.
