Here's a pic of my archery whitetail from this year. We hunted this area hard all season and spotted this guy on does at the peak of the rut. Never got a chance at him until the middle of December. He started off as a 12 pt but must have been a real scrapper he had 5 pts busted off. and part of his lower jaw had been punctured by an opponents antler and was swelled up the size of a baseball. I shot him with my Mathews Switchback @ 70lbs, 55-75 goldtip arrows with 100 gr spitfire broadheads. caught him quartering away and got top of the heart and both lungs, he traveled 20 yrds and piled up.

Big bodied deer. Two years ago I shot a buck that also had a hole in its jaw. I thought it had been shot before but upon checking it did not go through both sides and there was no bullet in there, I am sure it was a hole from a tine in a fight. Plenty of meat for you on your deer.
