Since we have a taxidermist and at least one hobby taxidermist frequenting the forum, why not show us some of your work?
Have either of you particpated in those competitions where you do the life sized mounts and have them situated in ways that have other stuff around them like a habitat?
I recall seeing one in a magazine that was a lifesize mount of a deer. This deer was bending over to get a drink out of a pond. The pond was created using plexiglass. It was a wintertime scene as there was "fake snow" on the water, leaves and such surrounding the pond. There was a little log and a bushy type thing on it. It was really cool.......

Well, Here Goes. I think I got this Picture thing down Now. Here Is a show scene containing a Blue fox in pursuit of a partridge a black bear defending his mule deer kill, from a marauding coyote. If you look closely you will see a Rainbow trout jumping up stream (by the purple Flowers). Directly behind the Coyote (Very hard to see in this pic). Is a mink with a crayfish in its paws. There is also a very upset bobcat below the Trout that cannot be seen from the angle the pic was taken

That is too cool. Do you participate in many shows where you must make mounts like this?

Great mounts there Tenbears! I just love viewing pics of such fine taxidermy work. I got some pics of work my Dad did that I will have to share. Some I already put up on other forums.
Thanks.

I do not do the computer thing that much so I will try and post some pictures of some of my competition deer when the wife gets home to help me. I have competed at the state and national level, so I have plenty of pictures to share.
