We are adopting 2 nurse mare foals. Next week we will be going to Kentucky to pick them up. If you click on the "save orphan foal" link at the top of this forum and go to available foals, you will see their pictures on the current pages. The ones we're getting are the TB/QH colt and the full appaloosa. If I had the barn space I'd take them all. hehe
I'll take more pictures of them when we get there and show you how they look.

So I've heard. I wrote to one lady who has adopted 2 appy's in the past and we're kind of wondering if maybe this one is related to her 2. She said mine acts like her colt Chance and started out solid but later has been changing colors. Mine has a few flecks of white.
They are thinking that Chance will turn into a leopard. Oh boy now wouldn't that be cool if mine did too? Time will tell though as it takes sometime for them to show all their color (if they ever do). I realize appy's change over time.

Bret you got it! Should be an interesting trip. We're bringing them home in a cargo van. First of all we don't have a trailer, second of all we'd be afraid they would get hurt since they won't be tied in (too little for that).
I'll try to take pictures of us all loading them inside. That should prove to give you some laughs. Might have to wait till I get the whole camera finished though unless I can take a few with digital camera. But it's an el-cheapo and it's very hard to take pictures with it outside.
