Bayouman, I have only hunted this wonderful bird a few times, have never killed a wild gobbler and have seen many. Mostly deer hunting, but have had the experience of calling up a few hens when I have had the time. Your organization is probably well worth the time and small amount of money, but I'd be willing to bet that most people (like me) have given up on the sport because of its difficulty. To me hunting the wild turkey is much more difficult than deer hunting. You have to have the time to find out where they are roosting, then try to call one up the next morning. I have never had much luck with this despite my relentlessness. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love trying, and maybe I'm doing something wrong, but most of my friends feel the same way . I think most get discouraged and give up. What do you think!

I think most get discouraged and give up. What do you think! AB, I have been fooled more times than not by big ole gobblers. The great challenge of turkey huntin to me is what keeps me interested in hunting overall. As long as I have enough wind left to blow a mouth call, strength in me ole hands to feebly operate a box/slate call and legs to carry me into the woods.......I will never give up.
