We drew 2 bull moose tags for the 4 of us in our party. We hunt in Thunderbay area in northwestern Ontario, during the regular firearm season, I'm the only member that uses a muzzleloader. With any luck the 10 ml II ,will score on yet another Bullwinkle.

Smokeeter That is good news for your group. The group I belong to only got 1 cow tag. Best of luck on scoring again with the 10ML-II. Ed

Just got back from our annual moose hunt, my 10 ml didn't bark, but one of my buddy connected on a 2 1/2 yr old bull. We had to leave early ( after our 1st week) because of the mild weather, we didn't want the meat to spoil. Great trip just the same

Smokeeter Glad to hear your group connected. I was not able to join my group this year because of job commitments nor have I heard from them yet. Even if they got a moose early there is a small town 6-miles up river from the camp and a local member of the party has already arranged refrigeration if necessary. Hope they did well and have a steak put aside for me, as I have not had the pleasure of enjoying such for a few years now. Enjoy the fine cuisine to come. If you feel generous I like mine done medium well with honey garlic barbecue sauce, side dish of sautéed mushrooms & onions, lightly coated with sour cream and with some fresh toasted Italian Garlic bread. Glass of medium sweet (#2) white wine and I would gladly skip dessert. Okay so I’m dreaming. ;D ;D Ed
