I picked up 6 boxes of loaded rounds in old factory boxes, most of the boxes are yellow with a tiger on it, 2 are cardboard colored with a bears' head. They were cheap, $10.00/box. The orig price was $6.50/box from the sticker.
One box has a headstamp of .257 Weatherby Mag Speer. The OAL of the brass is the same as new brass, but the shoulder is very rounded and is approx .090" - .125" shorter than the new brass (the neck is approx. .090" - .125" longer than the new brass)
Anybody have any idea how old this brass is? On most of the other boxes, the primers have a "NP" stamped in the primer, and the brass is headstamped .257 Weatherby Mag.
I'll take some pics tomorrow.

On Another topic (sort of), but still .257 Wby. I asked the guy at Hodgon powders (at the Grand American Trapshoot) about my difficulties getting the Wby to shoot good groups in warmer temps. He suggested that I try Retumbo powder, but they didn't have any load data for it. He did say that Retumbo powder was much less temp sensitive than the single based powders that I was trying, and I should start with the max powder charge for H 4198 as a min. charge of Retumbo. He was the Senior Ballistician, and gave me his card and said call anytime I had a question. Now to swing by a shop that has some.....
