With the recent purchase of my Trapdoor Springfield in .45-70, I am interested in getting into Black Powder reloading. ;D
I have most of the items I need, but I noticed that I'm also going to need to get a tumbler. Does anyone have a recommendation or advice on which to avoid?

Teleocaris, if you mean a tumbler for cleaning brass then one can never go wrong with Dillon, I have used on for years and still do. Lou

I also have the dillon vibratory case cleaner - very nice, once left it running with a super full load of 38 super pistol brass - for 3 days - it wasnt any warmer than usual, and still runs great today!

I had a lyman 3200 turbo auto-flow - I gave it away - very noisy and the dam thing kept breaking in one manner or another.

I have a Lyman and it works great. One day I compared a Lyman and RCBS in a gun shop. To my eye they were the same thing, only difference was color.I used a friends dillon once and it was great, but you know what?, my Lyman also cleans the brass. IMO they all work the same and they all work.

I like any thing Dillon builds but what I would realy like is for him to invite me to shoot some of his wild full auto Weapons.

I have a RCBS Sidewinder Tumbler. It can be used with both wet or dry media. You can also get an extra drum if you moly coat bullets.

I have a "Berry's MFG" tumbler and I like it as well. It's the only one I've owned. I also like to use the Crushed Walnut Hull media from RCBS and think it works real good in a shorter period of time then other media's I've used.
