I am just starting to gather my components for reloading. I would like your recommendation on a press. I am not a high volume shooter and never will be, so speed is not an issue. However, I am anal about my stuff and accuracy is my number one concern (and the reason to start reloading). With that being said what would you recommend?

I guess it depends on how much you want to spend. IMO, RCBS rock chucker is a good one.

I will be reloading .223, soon .243 Ackley and 6.5 X 284. I have it narrowed down to Rockchucker and new Lee Classic Cast (or ist's turret version). If money was no object I would go with the Forster Co-Ax.

I load about 800 to 1000 rounds a year. I've used a Rockchucker for about 30 years -- no complaints, no problems. I would expect the same of your listed options. Good luck and good shooting.

Based on my 15+ years and the two Rockchuckers I own, I can honestly say for the money, there is no press that is in the same price range as the Rockchucker that will serve you any better. With RCBS you also have the added plus of the finest C/S in the reloading industry.
If money was no object I would buy a Foster Coax press.
If you stick with reloading and it becomes as big a part of your life as it has with people like me, you will find yourself winding up owning a little bit from just about everyone who makes reloading equipment. My list of reloading equipment makers is.
RCBS Redding Lee Hornady Lyman Stony Point
As well as others that escape me at this moment.

As I said before, I have a RCBS Rockchucker and I'm more than pleased. I know people that have Dillon presses and swear by them and customer service is 2nd to none, but they're pricey too.

I have a RCBS RC ,Good powerful press. Bought it a couple years ago used. Before that I used a Lyman C press for 30 years and still use it. I like the open front on the C press and it loaded 300 Win Mag (no easily but it worked) So I guess that the bottom line is they all will do the job so just buy the one that fits your budget.

Kyle go with the RockChucker and stay away from open C type presses, as you go to larger cases the C types will give you trouble due to spring back/flexing.

As my first press, after a bunch of looking I purchased a RockChucker Supreme. It's worked just fine for me. I looked at the Forster too, but couldn't justify the extra $$ for my first press.
