I was at the Grand American today and a number of shooters there were in agreement that Remington shotshell primers went from being the worst to the best primers for shotshell reloading. When and why and what caused this to occur if this is correct? Anyone else find this to be the case. I have used Win primers for so long I have never tried others.

Now, I have not been reloading shot shells for years, but I use both primers. It just depends on the recipie that calls for one or the other. I have NEVER had a problem with either primer. I have been reloading about 5 yrs. I guess.

I dont know either, always used Winchester, and CCI primers but now I understand remington has improved some for muzzel loaders, maybe it just rubbed off on the normal type
