I am getting back into reloading for my handguns after a far to long a absence. I now need some experience base advice on which powder measure to buy. It will be used 100% of the time for throwing handgun powder only and only in the event my Pact electronic scale/dispenser fails will it ever be used to through rifle powder.
I have narrowed it down to a choice of either a Hornady LnL powder measure or a RCBS Uniflow Powder Measure or a RCBS Quick Change Powder measure. If anyone out there owns any of the three or has enough experience with them, please give me your opinions of which one of the three I should buy.
Based on all the info I can find as far as accuracy is concerned all the above listed powder measures are all equal in terms of accuracy and the method or "throwing form" used by the powder measure user ( aka me) is the determining or controlling factor in repeatable accuracy.
So with that said I am looking for the easiest to set up and use of the three powder measures I listed as well as which one can be change the quickest and easiest for throwing different types of and charge weights of the powders I will be using to reload with. Also any recommendation of any so called "must have" items to buy along with the measure, such as a stand or accessories like metering screws est would also be of great value to me.
I am leaning to wards the Hornady because it would appear that it requires buying the least amount of accessories for loading accurate rounds.
I greatly appreciate any help with this because I wish to get up and reloading quickly.
Thanks to all who help,
Arthur.
