Bought the Legend as they advertised a better trigger, no way it's no better then the PSE pro I have, shoots good but no better than the PSE. Although it shoots dead on at 20 yds set on zero and shoots dead on at 30 set on #1, stillk quite noisy. Any one use the silencers they advertise? Lou

Does it have the Talon trigger? I understand they just started using this trigger this year(at least on the Explorer series). I have a Horton Explorer 150 and it has a pretty good trigger. I bet if you contact them they will make the trigger right. As far as the silencers go, I have been thinking of ordering a set for the limbs. I hear the string silencers slow the bow down and you need a press to put them on. Horton has a graph on their web site showing the difference when using the silencers and a bow which does not. The URL is at the top of this page.

Your season is already in!? It don't start here in Virginia until October 1.
I had a slight problem with my bow and had to send it back. They got it on a Friday, fixed it the same day and it wend back out the following Monday. All in all it was gone a week and a day.

Doug, What was wrong with your bow. If you ever need a contact there, let me know. I play paintball with several of those guys. Nothing like painting an "unsafe lazy slob of a crossbow guy" haha. Seriuosly though, they are good guys over there and they do know there business. Kansas

Doug, I said legend it's an Explorer and does have the Tallon trigger. I talked a Maryln at Horton and she said for me to send the bow back to Horton. Is your trigger light? what would you say the pull is in relation to other bows if you have had any? She said it should be alot lighter than my other bow, Maybe it's me but I really can't see a difference! I was expecting it to be alot lighter than my PSE-270 Pro. I really hate to have to return the bow if nothing is wrong with it and maybe its me. Lou

I wouldn't say it is really light. It is a two-stage trigger with a little creep then it has a crisp break after that. I haven't tested the poundage but would guess somewhere between 4 and 5 pounds.
Mine is the Horton Explorer XL-150.

Lou, That is a nice round return number. Are you getting the same bow with the talon trigger? The legend is a good bow and has been around a while. Kansas
