Has anyone tried or thought about installing lighted nocks on their bolts? There are several manufacturers that sell them but I am not sure how hard they are to install or how they might affect the flight of the arrow.......Doug

doug they work beautifully very little effect on flight I like the burt coyote luminox/ In fact they have put together a system for the ten point or similar crossbow using XX 75 camo and there luminox as a system and are calling it the lightening bolt I just bought some for 14.00 not bad considering the luminox retails for 10 bucks. Haven,t lost a deer or an arrow since . You can also purchase just luminox need to be sure to clean inside of bolt real well get all of the old glue out also work well with carbon bolts

I am just wondering about the increased weight of the lighted nock and what affect that it might have on the FOC of the arrow. I use carbons with 100 grain mechanical broadheads and have got them hitting within a 3 inch group at 50 yards. I am wondering how much the lumenok nocks affect the flight of the arrow?
