Hi guys, I seem to remember reading somewhere that the (formerly NEF) H&R Handi-Rifle could accomodate a muzzleloader barrel. I've been wanting to get a 7mm-08 rifle for awhile, and a single shot would be just fine with me, as I'd like it to be sort of a starter rifle for when my kid(s) start hunting. I'd also like to get a muzzleloader barrel for it. Do any of you all know if they still do that? H&R's website was no help at all. Here's the gun in question. www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/product_info.php/products_id/89138Anyone know the part number for the muzzleloader barrel that would fit this frame?

If all else fails you could get a smokeless powder barrel for it from the Smokeless Muzzleloader guys and shoot anything you want in it. They can make it fit any action you have. If you ever wanted to you could shoot smokeless also.

I've already got a Savage, this is more of a wild hair kind of thing. And I finally found the answer to my question on the H&R website. You can buy any Handi-Rifle centerfire rifle, and then order a Huntsman muzzleloader barrel direct from H&R for about $85.
