Near simultaneous shots dropped these two gobblers for me and my hunting buddy.

Good experience. I am looking at the spread of the tails and it looks like young birds. I am guessing beard length around 6 inches (give or take an inch). Yeah, please share the details and practice outdoor writing. LOL Ben

Ozark that pretty much sums it up.
Yes they were young birds, but hunting 5 days in the HNF(Hoosier National Forest) make you appreciate having two gobblers come in together. Being able to take them both simultaneously sitting side-by-side just added to the excitement.
They gobbled continuously when called to and both came in fast. Barely had time to get set-up after "hoofing-it" up hill and through a clear-cut.
Irregardless of size,weight,beard length,spur size that doesn't diminnish the fun we had and the memory we will share as long time hunting partners(or brothers as I refer often)!
