I need some help from anyone who is truly knowledgeable about Knight Disk ML rifles. As in what is the difference between a plane Knight Disk ML, a Disk Elite and are there any problems associated with any model Disk rifle? And is there any advantage of one model disk ML as compared to another? Elite VS a standard Disk ML? I am interested mainly in a Disk that uses 209s.
I am asking because they can be had at the moment for some excellent prices NIB no less, and I am considering buying one to use with BH 209 when I can get it OTC.
Thanks, Arthur.

Art, strongly advise you to go with the ones I pm'd you about over at MM. Disc Elites have a sleek appearance, come with NO iron sights and no provision for adding them. If the irons aren't important, go that route as I'm sure you won't be disappointed. The plain old Knight Disc rifles were good rifles but used the orange plastic discs. (I heard those could be inserted backwards - yeah, that's right, I HEARD that ). OK, so I did it. The red plastic discs are better but still add an extra component and expense. The Elite and the new Extremes also have tool-less bolt disassembly whereas the older models do not. Barrel bedding is done differently in the Elite than is done in the other Knights and the Elites are probably the most accurate on average. The Elite stocks are also a bit more streamlined and feel better (IMHO). Adding a non-plastic jacket kit to either a new Extreme or one of those Elites would be a great choice. www.midsouthshooterssupply.com/item.asp?sku=00061900044 It does away with the need and expense associated with the jackets. Works very nicely. The only (minor) issue I've had with the disc rifles is cleaning that area where the disc sits in the bolt. Hope the above and my pm over there have helped.

I too recommend the DIsc Elites. I have bought 4 of them in the past 4 years. I gave one in .50 cal to my hunting buddy for Christmas and a .45 cal to the landowner for allowing me to hunt. I have a pair of them .50 cal and .45 cal for my own use. I did find the .50 calibers to be finicky on loads. I have not shot it in a few years but I will be working up a load with a 340 gr Dead Center and a stout charge of BH 209 powder soon as I drew a ML elk tag here in New Mexico. Can't use the smokeless, so I will take the next best thing.
