it was in the local papper july 13 that the state wants hunter to shoot any feral pig seen , central ny region 7

I've heard the same thing here in SW PA. now i haven't talked to any of our game commissioners yet BUT. they saythey escaped from a farm and went wild. do domestic pig do that? how did you get them?

Domestic hogs goes wild quickly and multiply rapidly. With two litters per year averaging 8 piglets per litter they can soon overpopulate an area. A few are interesting but they need to be thinned annually and heavy. I was raised up with these creatures and they can consume ten times the food of deer. They will eat anything. Fortunately, my area isn't bothered with them, Ozark

from what i hear some got away from a game farm i only live 15 min from the pa border

just talked to a buddy of mine he is leaseing 70acres in owego i guess they seen a few up there so after deer season i get to test the savage ml out on some pork
