I can't afford it, but I do want a crossbow. I know nothing about them other than the Excalibur is too expensive and the Parker and Ten-Points are too heavy.
I've looked at the Barnetts. The cheapest spot to buy appears to be Natchez, by far (same as for ML's). But they are constantly out of stock.
Has anyone had any success finding them at Natchez, or are they truly just always OOS? They are at least $100, if not $150, cheaper than Cabela's, BPS, and maybe $200 or more cheaper than other spots. I doubt I can even afford one at all, but I sure can't afford one of the fancy ones.

Buckrub, Have you looked into bowhunterssuperstore.com? From what I've seen their prices are the lowest. Sure wish I'd have found them before buying my Excalibur elsewhere on the web. Good luck, BOBinIN

Bob, never heard of them. Checked them out just now.
Couple of examples:
TenPoint Pro Fusion package w/ Pro-40 scope and Accudraw: Natchez: $880 SuperStore: $899
Horton Explorer Package Natchez: $299.99 SuperStore: $399.00
I can't find anywhere cheaper than Natchez on MLII's, archery, you name it. But the dang folks are ALWAYS "out of stock".

I've never bought anything from these folks, but their prices appeared to be pretty good www.yeoldearcheryshoppe.com. Natchez isn't an option for me as I live in TN and they are in TN, but will not ship to TN. Drove by Natchez one day, just a big old white building not open to the public. Bill
