I came up with this one by accident. This will give you steak one day and stew the next. Get out your steaks and cubed stew meat. They are going to be put in a big ziplock bag to marinate, the steaks for 1 day and the stew meat for 2.
Marinade
1 cup water
3 tablespoons galic salt
3 tablespoons A1 steaksauce
1/4 cup soy sauce
3 tablespoons worshire (I can't spell)
2 tablespoons tabasco
1/4 brown suger, use less, or non at all if you don't want sweet
Day 1 Steak
Heat up a large skillet and coat with butter. Place steaks from marinade into pan and add marinade so that the bottom of the pan has 1/8" of liquid. Cook 1 minute each side. Place on plate and add more marinade to get to 1/8"+ level in pan. Add .5 teaspoon of corn starch and mix while on heat. This will thicken for a nice sauce, poor over steaks and serve.
Day 2 Stew
Put 1/4 cup floor and add salt and pepper to taste, I am heavy on both. Coat stew meat in flour and brown in a pan with butter. Peal and cutt up 3 normal size potatoes and soak them in a bowl of cold water, this will pull a lot of the starch out. Skin 3 carrots and cut up and cut up 1/2 an onion. Get out your crockpot, if you don't have one, get one and you will not regret it, drain the potatoes and put them on the bottom, then the carrots, then 1/2 of the onions. Pore in all of the remaining marinade, there should be quit a bit left, put the meat on the onions and place the rest of the onions on the meat. Set on low and come back in 8 hours for dinner. The only problem is waiting because it smells so good. After 2 days of marinating the meat falls apart and tastes great!
